Check With Me On The 30th

If I don’t get this done and posted today before midnight, it will be September 1, 2026, and I will have to make a new page for September to post it and change the date. Too much work. As Nike says, just do it, (and get it done on time).
While I was doing white lines on my map, with the white lines being the West Covina Shopping Mall, I realized why the latest book I am reading is keeping my interest. I am upset with many of the premises in the book and wonder about Follet/s personal convictions at times. Nevertheless, I am riding on that roller coaster of ups and downs, triumphs and failures, life and death, while watching how Follet interweaves things of today into how people took care of things before electricity and other conveiniences we take for granted today.
There is always a bad man or bad woman someplace in the stories that keep you interest, I seem to remember a descriptive word, “protaginist”, as one of the main characters. I have to admit, I do not remember if that was a good person or bad person, and the start of the word, “pro”, going iwth the ending, “taginist”, makes me want to make it a good person who is bad.
Anyway, the characters in the book that are bad and always trying to tear down instead of building remind me of the people who try to tear down anything Trump does, whether it is good or bad. If they would only go after certain things and pick their battles, they might stand a chance.
One example might be the renaming of the Kennedy Center. I understand some of the bylaws or whatever is is called that establishes the Kennedy Center stated only Kennedy’s name could be on it. I don’t know if that is true or not, but the TDS crowd might stand a chance if that was true and they went after it from that angle instead of just the argument that you can’t have a felon’s name on the building.
Don’t get me started on the felon issue, you know, the felon who has 34 felonies, all for the same thing, i.e., one charge stated 34 times, which was not criminal action to start with, then moved into a misdemeanor, which was not a wobler, and wound up as the 34 felonies. I could have done a better job at that trial, along with thousands of others. And that is why you object to everyting so you can appeal, You do not get to appeal because you don’t like the outcome, it has to be a legal reason for an appeal and denying a change of venue was certainly an appealable issue as an example.
So guess what, I did not put the last period on the paper before the clock struck 12 on the 31st and my computer turned into a pumpkin. It only went back to being a laptop today so I am finishing up and starting a September page/ Yippee!
I am looking forward to September being a great month. It is Ali’s birthday month and the month I got out of the service, (along with the month I went into the service), the kids are back in school, I am moving forward with my directories and websites business, I have finished four tasks that were weighing me down already and it is only the 4th. I pray you are ready to feel really wonderful on October 1 because September was such a great month.

The Price of Eggs

Saturday and I got out before 8:00, but just barely. It was still a little cool because the sun was just warming up. Actually, the sun was the same temperature it had been all night. It was just now getting here after the cool night with its thermometer set on high to heat the earth.
I had a lot of discussions with myself while I was going around and around a section in Covina. I still believe that whoever laid out the streets was drunk or drew with their eye closed, as there is no way to cover many sections without backtracking on certain streets. Obviously there is only one way to cover a cul-de-sac and that is to return to where you entered it.
You probably have never noticed but most houses have more than one double. I can’t count how many times I think I have already done that street I am on because either the houses look familiar or the layout of the street look exactly like the street I did yesterday even though it was in another city.
I was one for two today, or 50% right. Certain streets have a loop around the outside and then streets running either North or South or East and West, depending on the layout. I wasn’t sure if I had covered different cross streets twice. One I went and did it and one I didn’t. I have to drive back to that area and do the one I missed. I have learned to do the street while I am there so I don’t have to come back for one street in a section I have otherwise completed.
I did not follow my own rules I made up for myself and it will cost me. It really is not going to change the price of eggs in China, but there is more than once that I have not followed my rules and the price of eggs have changed not only in China, but all over the world. Remember when they went up to $25.00 a carton a few months back/ Now you know the reason why they went up.
I move around in the location of the streets I cover, I move around in the authors I read, I read different sections in the Bible, work on different topics, while trying to stay in tune with the Holy Spirit on a regular basis. My nature is to stay active, keep learning, stay alert with the political events and people, which is not really in accord with the consistency of walking in the Spirit. My rule is to walk in the Spirit, which coincidently is also a Biblical rule/
It is really easy for me to start thinking way ahead of God and what He is doing. At least that is what I think until the building falls on me. I have had buildings taller than the Empire State Building come crashing down. It has taken more than a week for the heavy equipment to just move the debris so I can see and breathe normally. The dust is so thick the firehose is unable to do more than take a few flakes off every so often.
But, the dust does clear, the debris is hauled off to the dump, and God’s Mercy and Grace, (I definitely need both of them), picks me up and places me back on the narrow path, with all my bandages and band-Aids losing their glue and littering the path behind me. I am sore, but able to move, I am sorry, but forgiven, I am humbled, but have a straight back and reporting for duty, back walking in the Spirit.
I hope I don’t have to go through this again because I don’t remember what caused the price of eggs to escalate so high, other than I must have taken a right or left turn at the intersection where the wide path crossed the narrow path. The blinking light giving me permission to cross said to keep walking in the Spirit said to cross here. But we need a little adventure in our life and I looked at the flashing cross walk lights in the wide path and off I went, following whatever was flashing, I just don’t know if I turned right or left at the intersection and went on the path of tumbling buildings and high egg prices.
I should look up how long you can store eggs and keep buying new ones at the cheaper price when they reach their expiration date. Or I could follow my own rules and keep walking in the Spirit which would keep the price of eggs low.

Keep Up

I know why so many people do not want to keep up with the daily jousting in politics. It is a lot of work. And not really very rewarding if you want to stay friends with everyone. It is so much easier to just watch the MSM and remember a few of their pet phrases, e.g., “Trump always lies”, and avoid discussing politics with anyone who has more than one marble rolling around in their noggin. Those people with marbles upstairs just watch Fox anyway and Fox always lies also. Besides, the marbles make a lot of noise and make it hard to think and figure out a response.
I read an article about Karl Rove and his backstabbing of Trump. I will admit, the title of the article was the reason I started on the article. I almost put it down because it took a few moments to get to Rove and what he did and I had to pay attention to the display of facts on the trail getting to Rove.
I didn’t understand how what the accusation made by French about the make up of the University of Texas student body was going to be turned into a racist smear by Rove, when open borders are a problem for Republicans. Isn’t he a Republican, the architect for Bush, a voice of reason in the Republican tent? I found out the answer was no, but I had to try and keep up as I moved towards the answer.
Bo French is the Republican running for the office of Texas Railroad Commissioner. You probably did not even know there was such a position. His opponent is a Democrat, Jon Rosenthal. See, already more information than you ever wanted to add to your memory bank. There will be a test at the end so pay attention.
John Cornyn, the Rhino who lost in the primary to Paxton, called French out for his remark about how there were so many immigrants at the University of Texas. Maybe now you remember the picture which went viral after the Ohio State game? That picture is the asset used in this exercise.
Republicans are supposed to be against open borders so what French said was a call to look at what was happening in Texas. But the Rhinos went after French and called him a racist for noticing the increase of immigrants in the student body picture after Texas won the game. I was having a hard time figuring out why the Republican was attacking the Republican candidate and not being called out for that.
Then Karl Rove said he would vote for the Democrat rather than French because he was a racist and the Republican party was being chewed up by those espousing these racist accusations. So now there are two supposed top Republicans leading voters away from their own party candidate. And not because of some hearsay, but because he is against open borders, which is a Republican platform ideology, Trump won on that issue in both of his triumphs over the Democratic open border candidates, Harris and Clinton., along with a few other issues.
Of course the MSM loved this position of Cornyn and Rove and claimed the top Republican leaders are against Trump and Maga’s racist positions. If you were not keeping up, you would not know the two Rhinos are not top Republicans, even though they claim to be. That is why they are Rhinos but keeping up with who is for Trump and who is not is a chore when everyone in the MSM is against him and will not give him any credit for curing cancer because he did not do it on the first day in office and he lies all the time anyway.
There was another article with a heading about a top Republican saying Trump caused the high price of gas. The top Republican was Marjorie Taylor Greene. Another one let us know a top Republican brought impeachment papers against Hegseth and that was Tom Massie, who is another Rhino on his way out, but still called the voice of reason in the Republican party by the MSM.
The most disturbing article for me concerned the juror in the Clancy trial. The article gave the entire side of the 11 like it was the Gospel and stated the holdout juror did not share, which is a bold lie. I guess it is true he did not share immediately as the witches did, but he did come out and say they were full of baloney, he never said he had doubts, and always believed Lindsey was guilty of killing her three children and knew what she was doing. Having been in the family law courts and even attending a few hearings at Edelman Courthouse, it is disgusting what parents will do to their own children without any apparent remorse. They are sick in the head, but they do know what they are doing. While we are on the Clancy topic, the witches admitted they started out with Lindsey innocent by insanity, and admitted that no matter what the evidence was, that was their verdict. That interview was not widely disseminated either.
I don’t think Trump walks on water, but he is not on the bottom of the ocean with the whale doo doo. Crime is down, the border is closed, DEI is stopped, men are out of women’s sports is the position of the White House, the FBI caught all 10 of the Top Ten Wanted, and gas is still lower than its highest during the Biden Administration.
No one complains about how California has the highest taxes in the country, the gas is over a dollar higher than everywhere else in the country, the border is wide open, the state is a sanctuary state, and our governor and mayor of Los Angeles have caused numerous industries to leave with their tax dollars, e.g., American Idol, In-N-Out, Tesla, Paramount, Hewlitt Packard, etc. I know, Trump is the cause, not Newsom or Bass. Who is not keeping up now?
So, what was the name of the Republican candidate whose tweet started today’s Grist? What was the office he is running for? Name one Rhino. Told you there was a test at the end. Try to keep up. It gets easier if you do, but it is still a lot of work Pretty soon you will be able to talk about someone other than Trump and his so-called constant lying and how many times he is in the Epstein files.
